I didn't really enjoy the evening rush hour commutes in nyc, but now that they are life threatening covid spreading experiences, i look back fondly at the impromptu busking like the mexican guitar trio singing Te he prometido by Leo Dan. these are the songs that go through my head as i commune with the animals encountered while hiking. as Snoop Dog says, “You can take your boy out the hood but you can't take the hood out the homie”
